Coach Nichols is excited about this year's basketball season!  In addition to the Mighty Ball program he is offering to run a ‘hybrid’ team for the 5&6 grade girls and 3&4 Grade Boys that is optional and in addition to Mighty Ball.  It is an opportunity for the athletes to play more during the season, learn the skills necessary to compete at the next level and play against other local teams in towns such as Monroe, Southbury, Newtown and Danbury, while having fun.  We will have 1 practice per week and I will try to get in as many games as possible against other local teams, most normally on a Friday.  Regular attendance is not necessary but encouraged.  My coach used to always tell me "when you are resting there are other people out there working hard" so come as you can but attendance will not be held against you when we have games.  Everyone on the team will play in the games.  Players will improve.  We will grow as a team.   There will be no cuts.
