Learn to play field hockey. A fun instructional program with a focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game to girls in grades 1 through 6. Girls will learn the basic skills of stick handling, passing, receiving, positioning, goal scoring, offense, and defense. A few scrimmages will be scheduled with nearby towns if possible. Field hockey sticks and eye protection will be provided, however, bring your own if you have them. All girls will need shin guards, a mouth guard, and water. Each participant will receive a team shirt.
