THESE CLASSES ARE VIRTUAL.The student is responsible for renting or buying his or her own instrument. The instructor may require one or more music books be purchased prior to the start of lessons. Classical method of violin playing is taught, though these techniques can be applied to all styles of violin playing including jazz, country and Irish fiddle. Lisa Laquidara is a professional violinist and teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the Hartt School of Music and performs in several orchestras throughout Connecticut. She has taught at the Naugatuck Valley Community College, Westover School and St. Bridget School, and is currently the violin and viola teacher at the Taft School in Watertown. These classes are done virtually.

TOTAL BODY WORKOUT  Instructor: Tricia Brown A muscle toning and endurance class designed to challenge and work the entire body. We will also work on flexibility and balance. Bring a mat, free weights and a water bottle.  Modifications will be given as no one body is the same! Come join the fun! Learn to line dance in a fun, non-judgmental atmosphere. We will do some basic, traditional line dances plus many OTHERS will be introduced. We will dance to both country and pop songs! No experience necessary, just a desire to have fun! By the end of the 6 weeks, you will know 7-10 different dances. End the last 15 min with core/mat work. Bring a mat, wear sneakers and comfortable clothes. Due to the unusual times we are experiencing, please note that there may be changes or cancellations to programs when State or Town mandates effect the programs.  Tai Chi and Qigong Group Class: 9:15 - 10:15 am on Wednesdays, as well as 6:00 PM at (location to be determined). In this class you will learn a simple, but powerful set of qigong exercises that can help you improve your health, posture, balance, energy level, and lifestyle. These gentle, effective, exercises are performed slowly, standing up, and at your individual comfort level. Class also includes introduction to the Yang style 24 step Tai Chi form. Tai Chi Form Class: Immediately following the Group Class, 10:15 amNEW! Form class for Summer Sessions will begin 6/2! You must take a full session of the Form class to register for this one! After the first class is over, take your practice to the next level by learning and practicing the movements of the traditional Yang Style 24 step Tai Chi form. This class is designed to help each student to progress at their own speed and includes individualized instruction tailored to each student’s current level.  Tai Chi Intermediate Class: Immediately following the Monday evening, Group Class, 7:00 pm. THESE CLASSES ARE VIRTUAL.The student is responsible for renting or buying his or her own instrument. The instructor may require one or more music books be purchased prior to the start of lessons. Classical method of violin playing is taught, though these techniques can be applied to all styles of violin playing including jazz, country and Irish fiddle. Lisa Laquidara is a professional violinist and teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the Hartt School of Music and performs in several orchestras throughout Connecticut. She has taught at the Naugatuck Valley Community College, Westover School and St. Bridget School, and is currently the violin and viola teacher at the Taft School in Watertown. These classes are done virtually.

THESE CLASSES ARE VIRTUAL.The student is responsible for renting or buying his or her own instrument. The instructor may require one or more music books be purchased prior to the start of lessons. Classical method of violin playing is taught, though these techniques can be applied to all styles of violin playing including jazz, country and Irish fiddle. Lisa Laquidara is a professional violinist and teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the Hartt School of Music and performs in several orchestras throughout Connecticut. She has taught at the Naugatuck Valley Community College, Westover School and St. Bridget School, and is currently the violin and viola teacher at the Taft School in Watertown. These classes are done virtually.

THESE CLASSES ARE VIRTUAL.The student is responsible for renting or buying his or her own instrument. The instructor may require one or more music books be purchased prior to the start of lessons. Classical method of violin playing is taught, though these techniques can be applied to all styles of violin playing including jazz, country and Irish fiddle. Lisa Laquidara is a professional violinist and teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the Hartt School of Music and performs in several orchestras throughout Connecticut. She has taught at the Naugatuck Valley Community College, Westover School and St. Bridget School, and is currently the violin and viola teacher at the Taft School in Watertown. These classes are done virtually.

Due to the unusual times we are experiencing, please note that there may be changes or cancellations to programs when State or Town mandates effect the programs.  Tai Chi and Qigong Group Class: 9:15 - 10:15 am on Wednesdays, as well as 6:00 PM at (location to be determined). In this class you will learn a simple, but powerful set of qigong exercises that can help you improve your health, posture, balance, energy level, and lifestyle. These gentle, effective, exercises are performed slowly, standing up, and at your individual comfort level. Class also includes introduction to the Yang style 24 step Tai Chi form. Tai Chi Form Class: Immediately following the Group Class, 10:15 amNEW! Form class for Summer Sessions will begin 6/2! VOLLEYBALL – CO-ED, Pick-up GamesHaven’t played for a while but would like to?  Maybe you have never played before but would like to give it a try?  This program is for everyone who would like to get some exercise while having fun playing volleyball.Masks need to be worn when inside the school building at all times, including on the volleyball court.  Thank you
